Game Day Field Sound System:
The main goal of the field sound system was coverage for all the attendees of events. A speaker installation covering the main stadium utilized the 4 stand alone poles on the roof – each mounting one speaker. The field’s lighting poles on the left and right of the grandstands were also used to house multiple speakers. Finally, a series of 13 speakers were placed along the top front of the main building to cover areas at the top of the grandstands. This Athletic Complex sound installation provided coverage to spectator areas the client was expecting to have covered.
The event management booth houses the mixing console and a small control rack located directly behind the system operator. The installation also included microphone wiring to field panels, CD and IPod music playback, 4 channel intercom system and hearing impaired equipment as well as main amplifier racks.
